As a therapist, my work focuses on supporting individuals who experience challenges related to relationships, childhood experiences, anxiety, grief, or depression. My goal is to help you develop a healthier, more empowered version of yourself.

My background in crisis response has allowed me to work with individuals of all ages, including those with intellectual, physical, and developmental disabilities, as well as people experiencing homelessness, and from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.

These experiences gave me a unique perspective on trauma, grief, and anxiety, helping me provide compassionate, validating, and practical support.

I use Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness Therapy (MT) to help clients understand their inner experiences, build practical skills, recognize strengths, and strengthen emotional resilience. A core part of my work is teaching individuals to self-regulate, so they can feel secure when life becomes chaotic or overwhelming.

I have supported individuals through their most vulnerable moments — the ones that felt hopeless, isolating, or too heavy to carry alone — and helped turn these experiences into opportunities for insight, growth, and healing.

I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel understood, supported, and encouraged to grow. Therapy with me is collaborative and authentic. Together, we clarify your goals, challenge unhelpful patterns, build confidence, and make meaningful, lasting changes. Ultimately, my aim is to help you trust in your ability to persevere, heal, and thrive.

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a Practicum student supervised by Katerina Yaroslavsky, RP.

Throughout my life I have always found purpose in coming alongside people in their journeys; engaging with them, identifying their struggle and providing a toolbox for them to achieve their desired goal of wholeness. This goal has led me to pursue specific education; a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in Crisis Counselling, Bereavement education through University of Toronto, and my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

My educational pathway has only ignited my passion to help people process their lived experiences and challenges even more. My goal is to collaboratively coach people to discover their own goals and tools to achieve health and wholeness. Brene Brown says: “ You either walk inside your story and own it, or you stand outside your story and hustle for your worthiness”.

My work focuses on supporting people who feel stuck in anxiety, self doubt, relationship challenges, or life transitions that are difficult or unclear. Many of the people I see are doing their best they can with what they have, yet still feel uncertain, disconnected from what they want, or are quietly carrying past experiences that continue to take up a great deal of space in their lives.

People often reach out when the same situations keep playing out in familiar ways. They might notice tension in their relationships, a lot of second guessing, or feeling overwhelmed by reactions that seem bigger than the moment. At some point, it starts to feel tiring and there’s realization that these old patterns are no longer serving them.

In our work together, we look at what’s happening beneath those experiences and what feels most important to you right now. We explore how certain reactions or patterns developed and how they’re showing up in your life today. In our work together, we will take the time to step back, make sense of what’s happening, and begin moving toward choices that feel more true to you.

My approach is collaborative, relational, and rooted in curiosity. I see you as the expert on your own experience, and my role is to support you in understanding it in a way that feels empowering and meaningful. Over time, this work can help you feel steadier in yourself, clearer about what matters to you, and more confident moving toward the life you want.

For as long as I can remember I have always been motivated to help others, especially in times of need. My interest in learning more about mental health and how to help others started with my own experiences supporting family members through their struggles.

In addition to my Master of Counselling degree, I have completed a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills training, Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist (CAGCS) training, and advanced training in working with anxiety. My work focuses on helping clients adjust their negative thinking patterns, while also learning how to implement important DBT skills into their everyday lives, such as emotion regulation, and mindfulness.

I truly believe we all have the tools within us to help make our lives happier and more fulfilling, and strive to provide a safe space for clients to speak freely, feel accepted, and listened to. I encourage clients to be an active participant in their own healing growth, and look forward to helping you become the best version of yourself!

NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS

Have you ever felt utterly alone, anxious, and disconnected? I too felt unsure, overwhelmed, and had trouble coping with life’s curveballs. My journey involved learning to lean into discomfort, to be open and vulnerable, and that one wrong turn does not mean the end. By opening up my authentic self to others and to myself, I learned that I am enough.

I believe success in therapy is achieved by using an individualized approach that celebrates the qualities that bring us together as well as those that make us unique. We all face our own battles, but we do not have to go it alone. I am committed to providing a safe and caring, judgement-free environment in which life challenges can be processed and overcome.

My areas of specialty are relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, and emotion regulation.
